Aiways U5

Audi E-tron Sportback and E-tron GT
Deliveries of the Audi e-tron Sportback will start in March. The coupé version of the SUV benefits from the same updates for more range as the variant with a steeper rear. A more powerful E-tron S is expected for the summer.
In November, Audi will pull the cloth off the E-tron GT. The sports sedan is based on the PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, which is also the basis for the Porsche Taycan. The data sheet of the Audi E-tron GT should contain performance values that correspond to the Taycan 4S. With the larger battery pack in Launch Control, it delivers up to 420 kW (571 PS), the range is a maximum of 463 kilometers (according to the standard).
BMW iX3
The SUV - In addition to the pure combustion engines and a plug-in hybrid, the series will also be presented with a pure electric drive as the iX3 in 2020. The usable capacity of the battery should be 74 kWh, the electric drive should provide a maximum output of 200 kW (272 PS) and over 400 Nm torque. The BMW iX3 is built in China, also for export to other markets.
Citroën Ami One
When it comes to the Ami One, Citroën speaks less of a car and more of a mobility concept. Whether you can buy the two-seater city car, which will travel at a maximum speed of 45 km /h, or rent it as part of a car sharing concept, will vary depending on the market. The series model is to be shown in 2020. When exactly the Ami One will start in Germany has not yet been confirmed. In addition, the Jumpy transporter and the Spacetourer based on it for the transport of people with electric drive are rolling out to dealers.
Fiat 500-e
After 13 years, the Fiat 500 still has no successor. The 500e with electric drive planned for a premiere at the Geneva Motor Show will enrich the 500 family as an additional variant on a new technical basis. An electric Fiat 500 was already available in the bodywork of the combustion engine, but it only came off the production line in very limited numbers for the US market.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
Fans are controversial whether the new electric SUVfrom Ford may bear the name Mustang. Ford says: Anyone who has driven the Mustang Mach E will understand. It will be so far for us at the end of 2020. Then the competitor to Model Y and Co. also comes to Germany, first in a well-equipped First Edition. Other variants will follow later, the basic version with 190 kW (258 hp) and rear-wheel drive should start at 46,900 euros. This is an inexpensive entry - at least now there is something in common with the 'real' Mustang.
Honda E
The Honda e will bring new chic to the small car class in 2020. The electric three-door model comes in two power levels of the electric motor mounted on the rear axle with 100 kW (136 hp) and 113 kW (156 hp). The lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 35.5 kWh, which ensures a manageable range of just over 200 kilometers. The numbers in the price list are higher: The Honda E costs from 33,850 euros, including cameras instead of exterior mirrors.
Mazda MX-30
Mazda's first electric car comes as far as the Honda, the MX-30. The Japanese are bringing a compact SUV coupe in the format of the well-known CX-30, in which the rear doors that open in opposite directions are particularly noticeable. There is a battery pack with 35.5 kWh storage capacity in the vehicle floor, which is sufficient for a range of 200 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. The MX-30 First Edition, which costs 33,990 euros, can already be reserved, delivery of the first copies will begin in the second half of 2020. Another variant with a rotary piston engine as a range extender will follow in 2021.
Mercedes EQV
Mini Cooper SE
It took a long time until an electric mini starts rolling. Electric three-door vehicles were already running in field tests in 2009. Then mini-mother BMW first brought the i3. Its technology modules now have a new playing field in the Mini Cooper SE. The electric drive has an output of 135 kW (184 PS), while the battery with 33 kWh storage capacity should provide 200 kilometers of driving pleasure in real everyday life. The price: from 32,500 euros.
Nissan Ariya
The Nissan Ariya Concept was in the spotlight at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. The 4.60 long SUV coupé with electric drive should go into series production as early as 2020. The look is unlikely to change in comparison to the concept car, because here you can already see conventional door handles and exterior mirrors - atypical for trade fair studies.
Opel Corsa-E, Vivaro-E, Zafira Life-E
Opel speaks of the 'Volks-Elektrowagen' and means theCorsa-E. It will be launched on the market in spring 2020 with a 100 kW (136 hp) drive and a 50 kWh battery. The basic model costs from 29,900 euros. Later in the year, the family van Zafira Life and the commercial vehicle version Vivaro benefit from the electrification strategy of the parent company PSA. Both come with an electric drive.
Peugeot E-208 and E-2008, Expert and Traveler
At Peugeot, new e-cars will be launched in 2020 analogous to the plan of sister company Opel. The small car E-208 starts at 30,450 euros, and Expert and Traveler will also be available as equivalents to Opel Vivaro and Zafira Life.
Together with the E-208, the new SUV will also be available from spring 2020 Model E-2008. The same technology is in the 4.30 meter long five-door with a 50 kWh battery and 100 kW maximum output. The price list for the Peugeot E-2008 starts at 35,250 euros.
Polestar 2
In 2020, Volvo's sister brand Polestar is launching the Polestar 2, a direct competitor to Tesla's Model 3 . At the beginning there is a well-equipped equipment line for 58,900 euros, which can already be reserved. The cars built in China are to be delivered from May 2020, with service provided by Volvo dealers. The electric drive of the mid-range model has a maximum output of 300 kW (408 hp). In perspective, the price will drop to less than 40,000 euros with less equipment.
Porsche Taycan 4S and Cross Turismo
The first examples of the Porsche Taycan will be available to customers in 2020. Shortly after the turbo models, the Taycan 4S comes as a new entry-level model from 105,607 euros with 320 kW (435 hp) rated output and a smaller battery with 79.2 kWh. In autumn 2020, Porsche will be showing the Taycan Cross Turismo, a higher-lying hatchback Stromer.
Seat Mii Electric, El-Born
The Seat Mii has been around since 2012. The gasoline engines flew out under the short hood, in the future there will be the five-door small car as Mii Electric. 61 kW (83 PS) ensure agile propulsion, the battery with 32.3 kWh of usable energy provides a range of 260 kilometers in accordance with the WLTP standard. The low price of 20,650 euros should encourage many people to consider switching.
At the end of 2020, a second Seat 'made in Germany' will come onto the market after the Tarraco SUV. In Zwickau, the compact El-Born shares the belt with the largely identical VW ID.3
Skoda Citigo E iV, MEB-SUV
The Seat Mii Electric is also available from Skoda , there it is called Citigo E iV. It starts at prices from 20,950 euros and can already be ordered. Deliveries will start in spring 2020.
The first Skoda, developed from the start as an electric car on the basis of the MEB (modular electric kit), will not be a five-door compact car, unlike Seat el-Born and VW ID.3 . Skoda starts the new era with an SUV coupé. The Vision iV study already gave a concrete outlook.
Smart EQ
Smart Fortwo and Forfour celebrated at the IAA 2019a facelift premiere. At the same time, the Daimler brand said goodbye to the internal combustion engine. The new Smart models with 60 kW (81 PS) electric drive offer relatively little space for the battery. Their storage capacity is a manageable 17.6 kWh, which, according to the manufacturer, is sufficient for a range of 140 to 159 kilometers. Smart has not yet revealed prices, so far the electric Fortwo has been called for at least 21,490 euros.
SsangYong E-SUV
The Korean manufacturer is developing the Korando compact SUV, which was launched in autumn, as a basis his first electric model. At the end of 2020 SsangYong will present the as yet nameless series with 140 kW (190 PS) and a range of 420 kilometers. The batteries store 61.5 kWh and are supplied by LG Chem. It seems questionable whether SsangYong will deliver the first copies in Germany in 2020.
Tesla Model Y
Tesla
Model Y is supposed to go to customers in autumn 2020. With its contemporary SUV coupé architecture, it should repeat and even surpass the sales success of the technically identical Model 3. The prices for the Model Y should start at 56,000 euros, cheaper variants will come later.
Toyota ProAce
The construction effort for the first electric car from Toyota in Europe is limited to the attachment of Logos. The ProAce and the Verso car variant are developed together with PSA. Like the corresponding models from Citroën, Opel and Peugeot, the Toyota bus also comes with an electric drive. The new Mirai is not expected in Europe until 2021.
VW E-Up and ID.3
Seat Mii Electric, Skoda Citigo e iV - isn't one missing? Right! The VW E-Up will also be available at the beginning of 2020. In contrast to its twins, who were previously only available as combustion engines, the E-Up is already the second generation to start. That means: It also has the larger battery with 32.3 kWh usable capacity for a standard range of 260 kilometers. The VW starts at 21,975 euros. While Seat and Skoda only offer the electric versions, the VW Up is still available with gasoline engines.
The VW ID.3 will hit the streets in mid-2020, more than a year after the start of advance sales. It starts with the special model ID.3 1st for 'under 40,000 euros'. Then a 58 kWh lithium-ion battery for a range of 420 kilometers is on board. Laterthere are larger (77 kWh) and smaller (45 kWh) batteries and other model variants whose prices should start at 'under 30,000 euros'.
