With our neighbors, the Subaru Forester is also taking off for the 2023 model year in the form of the Black Edition special model. Special design elements in black ensure a unique look.
Black add-on parts, dark paint
The black add-on parts of the Black Edition include the roof rails and the roof antenna, the window frames and the pillar panels as well as the paneling of the exterior mirrors and the fog lights. The underbody protection at the front and rear, the radiator grille and the lettering at the rear are also painted black. The dark appearance is rounded off by 18-inch alloy wheels in - of course - dark metallic.
The equipment of the Black Edition includes full LED headlights with automatic headlight range control, an electric glass sunroof, a heated leather steering wheel and heated leather seats at the front and rear. The driver's seat also has an eight-way electrical adjustment with memory function, and the front passenger seat is also electrically adjustable. The complete EyeSight driver assistance system is also on board.
The only drive available is the well-known e-Boxer, which combines a two-liter four-cylinder boxer with 150 hp and 194 Nm of torque with a 12.3 kW and 66 Nm electric motor. Shifting is via a CVT transmission. At low speed and with the appropriate battery charge, even short distances of up to around 1.5 kilometers can be covered purely electrically.
On the other hand, customers can choose the exterior finish, but only to a limited extent. The exterior colors Crystal Black Silica and Cascade Green Silica are available for the Black Edition.
In Austria, the Forester 2.0i e-Boxer Black Edition is available at prices starting at 52,490 euros. In Germany, the Forester with the top Platinum equipment starts at 45,890 euros, the comparable variant is only available from our neighbors from 50,990 euros.
