Opel turns the Mokka-e into the Mokka Electric and, in addition to the new name, also gives it an optimized drive.

Battery increases to 54 kWh

The SUV now called Opel Mokka Electric can also be supplied with a larger lithium-ion battery and more power if desired. With the new 54 kWh battery, Mokka Electric drivers can travel up to 406 kilometers according to WLTP instead of up to 338 kilometers. At the same time, Opel reported a drop in power consumption to 15.2 kWh per 100 kilometers. The larger energy storage can be recharged to 80 percent in 30 minutes using the 100 kW fast charger. Alternatively, an 11 kW onboard charger supplies the battery. ,

With the larger battery, the power of the electric motor also increases. This increases from 100 to 115 kW, while the maximum torque of 260 Nm remains unchanged. The Opel Stromer accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in less than 10 seconds. The electronically limited top speed is 150 km/h.
