A As an entry-level engine, Nissan X-Trail now uses the new diesel, which develops 150 hp and 340 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm from a displacement of 1.7 liters. The diesel is optionally available with a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT gearbox and front or all-wheel drive. The diesel allows a sprint time of 10.7 seconds and a top speed of 194 km /h.
The dual clutch transmission is also new
As an alternative to the diesel, from the second equipment level Acenta, a 3-liter turbo gasoline engine with 160 hp, 270 Nm torque and front-wheel drive ready. Power is transmitted by a dual clutch transmission (DCT) with seven speed levels, which is used for the first time in the Nissan X-Trail. The petrol engine brings the X-Trail to 100 km /h in 11.5 seconds and speeds it up to 198 km /h.
Both engines are of course certified to Euro 6d-Temp. The new diesel variant is available from 29,450 euros, the new gasoline engine costs at least 31,760 euros. Both engines are offered in the five-seat and seven-seat X-Trail.
With the engine update, the Nissan X-Trail has also been updated with the safety systems. The range now includes a steering assistant for independent lane keeping and an adaptive one Cruise control.
