E The completely new generation of the Mercedes GLC will arrive in 2020. Before that, however, it will receive another facelift. The revised Mercedes GLC will be available at dealerships in mid-2019. The facelift version is celebrating its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show.

GLC with new four-cylinders

In terms of engines, the GLC has the latest four-cylinder generation - the Gasoline engines with a 48-volt electrical system and a belt starter generator. All are classified according to Euro 6d. The new two-liter four-cylinder in the GLC 200 generates 197 hp and 280 Nm plus 10 kW and 150 Nm from the electric motor. The GLC 300 has 258 HP and 350 Nm from the combustion engine plus 10 kW and 150 Nm from the electric motor. The diesels, which are exhaust-gas-cleaned with the SCR catalytic converter, still have to do without e-support and produce 163 hp and 360 Nm in the GLC 200d, 194 hp and 400 Nm in the GLC 220d and 245 hp and 500 Nm in the GLC 300d. The 300 models are generally combined with all-wheel drive and 9-speed automatic. The smaller units can also be ordered with pure rear-wheel drive. More new engines are to be added later in the year.

Prices for the new Mercedes GLC have not yet been announced.
