S black, stone gray, checker plate - tuner East Coast Defender (ECD) has put a Land Rover Defender D110 on its wheels that looks as if it is indestructible. The latest creation is called Project Soho and underlines its brute appearance on the engine side with a 6.2-liter V8 from the Corvette. Its brute appearance, in turn, is accompanied by a Borla Performance sports exhaust system. The administrative work is carried out by a six-speed automatic transmission.
Car with a three-day beard
An in-house air suspension system carries the body, decorated with widebody kit, along with the power dome on the hood. Below that are BF Goodrich off-road wheels on Kahn 20-inch rims, which do the rest of the striking appearance. If this car were human, it would be someone who was born with a three-day beard. This impression evaporates within a few seconds after you open the door and take a look inside - we are now giving ourselves the philosophical bridge to the tough guy with a soft heart.

Inside there is an Alcantara symphony in red and black, the four individual Corbeau RRS sports seats have both heating and ventilation. Thanks to the WLAN hotspot, passengers can comfortably surf the net in such a comfortable place while they enjoy one or the other subwoofer-amplified, bass-heavy piece of music via the JL sound system. The driver can, however, charge his smartphone inductively and, if it comes from Apple, also establish a connection to the infotainment system via Apple Car Play. Otherwise, the pilot looks at red round instruments in a retro look,or even better: on the street.
