With the new D S 7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4, the French from the Citroën luxury brand DS are putting an SUV on the road that, according to the WLTP measurement method, should only emit 31 grams of CO2 per kilometer driven. If the driver chooses the zero-emission mode from the four available driving modes, CO2 emissions and thus consumption are reduced locally to zero.
The sport mode ensures that the electric drive interacts dynamically (two electric motors with 109 hp each) and the 200 hp PureTech petrol engine. Thanks to the maximum torque of 450 Newton meters, the DS accelerates 7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4 in 6.6 seconds from zero to 100 km /h. If you accelerate further, it covers the first 1,000 meters in 27 seconds. The hybrid mode offers a control between the two drives designed to save fuel. The all-wheel drive mode ensures increased traction on all surfaces up to a speed of 135. The e-Save function is a special feature. With their help, the driver can save certain ranges (10 kilometers, 20 kilometers or the full loading capacity) for later journeys.

The battery is full after around two hours
If you have a 7.4 kilowatt wallbox at home, you can fully charge the 13 kWh battery within an hour and 45 minutes. The charging process takes eight hours at an eight-ampere fused household socket. During the journey, the DS 7 offers crossback E-Tense 4x4a recuperation system that also extends the range. The purely electric range is 58 kilometers.
Furthermore, the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4 has the DS Connected Pilot, which offers the chance of autonomous driving Level 2, a camera-based active damper control (DS Active Scan Suspension), the DS Park Pilot and DS Safety with all the necessary safety systems. In terms of space, the plug-in hybrid has not experienced any restrictions compared to its burner brother, as the battery is placed under the back seat. Materials such as Alcantara and nappa leather were chosen for the interior.
The DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4 can be ordered from mid-July 2019. The prices for the DS 7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4 in the Be Chic version start at 50,290 euros.
