D he Audi SQ7 is the opposite of petite . An SUV with an empty weight of 2,395 kilograms (according to EU), almost two meters wide (without mirrors), 435 hp. The V8 turbodiesel with a displacement of four liters and a maximum torque of 900 Newton meters brings the SQ7 to country road speed in 4.8 seconds. All questions answered?

Tuner Abt, that's not enough. And the Kempten-based company is making its statement with a kit for the SUV. Via an additional control unit - called Abt Power - the charged compression-ignition engine pushes up to 510 HP out of the eight combustion chambers.

The torque climbs almost into the four-digit range. Abt states that it is 970 Newton meters, which the all-wheel drive must digest and distribute. The price for the increase in performance is 5,951 euros. Then the customer no longer has to worry about installation and TÜV. A guarantee for the increase in performance can also be taken out.

Abt makes the massive SQ7 even more brutal.

Power SUV with roof spoiler

Abt is not only working on the performance, but also on the optics to make the SQ7 look even more brutal. The front and rear apron add-ons, door strips and a tailpipe cover set are part of the 'narrow construction' kit. It costs 4,700 euros including VAT. In addition, there is assembly for 845 euros.

If the SQ7 is still too good for you, the SUV can be equipped with wider fenders. For the wide-body kit, which also includes all of the above-mentioned parts, the tuner estimates 6,400 euros. And if you want more, Abt builds a spoiler on the rear edge of the roof. Mudguard inserts - either made of ABS plastic or carbon fiber - are available on top for an additional fee. The complete Abt aerodynamics package with wide body add-on partscosts 8,950 euros including VAT and assembly.

Audi delivers the SQ7 ex works with 20-inch wheels. 21 and 22 inches are available as options. Abt does not hesitate for long and sets the power diesel exclusively to 22 inches. The tuner from Kempten offers these in three different designs.

Abt also tackles the interior. The tuner offers the following parts: dashboard covers (990 euros), seat frame covers (1,190 euros), each finished in carbon, plus start-stop switch cap (42 euros) and door entry lighting (49 euros). div>
