U rban Motors, that sounds like going on Car world. But Eschweiler, which is very close to Geilenkirchen, the Martin-Schulz-City of Würselen and Aachen, belongs to this, yes somehow. And although the province is more his home, this Audi TT RS deserves a closer look. After all, it was modified and optimized by Urban Motors according to (almost) all the rules of the art of tuning. Not everything comes from in-house development.

Aero parts from the Audi Sport factory range

For the aerodynamics package, colleagues from the vicinity of the border triangle Germany-Belgium-Netherlands at Audi Sport make use of them -Shelf. The Aerokit 1 is used, which comprises the following components, some made of carbon and some painted in glossy black: front splitter, flics attached to the side of the front apron, rocker panels, air guiding elements on the rear apron, rear diffuser and a 'hanging' rear wing in the style of the current DTM racing cars. There is also a new bonnet with air outlets made of carbon fiber composite materials.

Urban Motors
The 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo gasoline engine now makes 510 instead of 400 hp.

This hides the well-known, characterful heart of the Audi TT RS Roadster: a 2.5-liter five-cylinder turbo gasoline engine that produces 400 hp and maximum torque in series production of 480 Newton meters. With the increase in performance, which bears the cosmopolitan designation SLS Tuning-Stage 3, the open two-seater now has 510 hp and a maximum of 650 Newton meters. In addition to the software optimization, a 90-millimeter downpipe with HJS catalytic converter modules and a new air intake are also includedK&N air filter mat for the innovations in the TT RS-Bug.

Now with KW variant 3 coilover kit

Urban Motors upgraded the chassis with KW variant 3, the individual settings in train - and pressure rating allowed. For the rims, the OZ Leggera HLT model in 9 x 20 inch format was chosen. Michelin supplies the matching Pilot Sport 4S rubbers in the dimension 255/30 R20. The front axle brakes with the factory-installed carbon-ceramic system. Because one was not available for the rear axle, the tuner quickly adapted that of the Audi S7.

So, the team around company boss Nils Urban can improvise. Which of course completely legitimizes the company name, which at first seems a bit presumptuous.
