M with its light green paint in peridot metallic the modified roadster is reminiscent of the Cayman R ex works. “In addition to the original Cayman R color, other paint finishes are of course also possible,” says Speedart boss Björn Striening. In addition to the front hood painted in black metallic, visual accents are also set by parts made of carbon fiber in front of the air inlets in the side wall (1,788 euros). An aerodynamics package (1,694 euros) with a front spoiler and fixed rear wing gives the Speedart Boxster an even more striking face than the production version. “Thanks to sport springs, our vehicle is also 25 millimeters lower,” explains Striening. The appearance is completed by multi-part 21-inch forged wheels (20-inch series) with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires in the format 245/30 and 305/25 (complete wheel set: 6,990 euros).

Speedart for everyday use Athletes

Despite the lowering and the smaller tire cross-section than the standard version, the remaining comfort does not suffer. Glide along with the top down or sweep around the corner - the SP81-R also manages the balancing act between suitability for everyday use and sporty driving fun. A moderate increase in performance from 20 to 335 PS should also make the tuning model a little faster. Speedart specifies a maximum speed of 284 km /h for the PDK variant (series: 277 km /h). The SP81-R should run from zero to 100 km /h in 4.7 seconds (series with PDK: 4.8 s). Soon in the Speedart program: two more power kits with 35 and 80 hp.
