P osaidon has the central flaw of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + 4-door coupés not only recognized, but rectified immediately. The tuner from near Koblenz has simplified the model name blatantly. The four-door hatchback is now called the Posaidon RS 830, and that's a lot easier to say than ... - well, you know. But it doesn't stop with the new model name.
More power, better performance
What the AMG doesn't need in view of its standard 639 hp and up to 900 Newton meters is more power. Nevertheless, Posaidon gives the four-liter twin-turbo V8 significantly more of it. After the power cure, the RS 830 has 830 hp and develops a maximum of 1,100 Newton meters. This should lead to the following performance: 2.9 seconds from zero to one hundred and over 350 km /h top speed. At the same time, we had no idea beforehand that the 3.2 seconds and 315 km /h of the production car had to be accelerated at all.

The tuning package, which costs 24,000 euros, includes new turbochargers, better charge air cooling, a sports air filter and new downpipes including sports catalytic converters . In addition, Posaidon adjusts all relevant software components to the new conditions. The lowering of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + 4-door Coupé, which is not described in detail, is also done electronically.
Performance potential not yet exhausted
Even with these impressive values, Posaidon sees that of AMG used four-liter biturbo V8 in many models by far not exhausted. That also 880The recently introduced Mercedes-AMG two-door from the Rhineland-Palatinate company already proves it has PS and up to 1,200 Newton meters. At this stage, the car would then be called the Posaidon RS 830+. This is also a pretty catchy model name.
