Tuner Pogea Racing from Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance is always finding new potential in Italian sports cars A lfa Romeo 4C. The current expansion stage is called 4C Zeus and is based on the coupé version of the Italian.

Weight drops by 100 kilograms

First of all, the two-door car was concerned with the bodywork. The redesigned front apron with its extended front splitter ensures a more dynamic look. There are also striking side skirts with additional cooling openings for the new oil and transmission oil cooler. Additional side spoilers ensure a calmer air flow. The rear view is dominated by a newly shaped rear apron with diffuser, lower splitter and centrally arranged exhaust outlet. The rear window is replaced by a cover with side fins and a roof scoop for engine compartment ventilation. A large rear wing makes for a striking finish. Since all new attachments are made from carbon fiber laminate, the weight of the 4C Zeus drop by 100 to just 904 kilograms compared to the series.

Power increases to 351 hp

The engine department at Pogea has also made a good deal of extra weight. The 1.8 liter turbo four-cylinder received optimized engine and transmission control software, modified turbochargers, a modified high-pressure pump and injectors, ceramic clutch discs and a flap exhaust system. In total, the four-cylinder has 351 hp and a maximum torque of 458 Nm. The spurt times tumble with more power. Only 3.4 seconds should pass from zero to 100 km /h. The sprint from 100 to 200 km /h is shortened to 8.1 seconds. The top speed is named 304 km /h.

So that the 4C remains safely on the road, KW coilover suspension with fully adjustable dampers and a lowering of 50 millimeters as well as a lift system on the front axle was installed. In the wheel arches, 8.5x18 and 9.5x19 inch forged wheels turn, fitted with 225 /40-18 tires at the front and 265 /35-19 at the rear.

Conversion price from around 50,000 euros

A sports steering wheel with a 12 o'clock mark and sports seats with optimized lateral support are responsible for the new feel-good climate in the cockpit. Almost all components of the interior trim are covered with light blue and orange leather or Alcantara. There is also a high-end audio system.

The Pogea Racing 4C Zeus is available in an edition of ten copies. The cost of converting a 4C is 50,100 euros including assembly and painting plus taxes.
