Novitec tuning for the Ferrari SF90 Stradale

The hypercar with hybrid drive not only gets an engine upgrade, but also chassis modifications and new wheels.

Novitec has never been accused of having too much respect for illustrious names and extreme technical data. An exclusive horse from Maranello needs a makeover? bring it on! And 1,000 HP isn't enough? No problem, in Stetten they are saddled up in this respect as well. As is currently the case with the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, to which Novitec primarily gives technical modifications in the first step.

The exhaust system of the hybrid hypercar is the focus of action in Upper Bavaria. Novitec exchanges the standard part for an in-house exhaust with optimized exhaust gas routing, which is available in several variants: With or without electronically operated flap control, made of the high-tech material Inconel on request and optionally coated with 999 fine gold, which reduces heat dissipation and thus the should optimize the temperature balance in the engine compartment. In addition, the 100-cell metal catalytic converters and the two 112-millimeter stainless steel tailpipes with carbon covers offer less resistance to the exhaust gases than in the production car.

33 hp more for the biturbo V8

The reward for the effort is a four-liter biturbo V8 that has been boosted from 780 to 813 hp, and whose maximum torque increases from 800 to 858 Newton meters at the same time. Since the electric motor trio continues to contribute 162 kW/220 hp, the system output increases to 760 kW/1,033 hp. Too small a jump to significantly improve driving performance. The SF90 Stradale continues to accelerate from zero to one hundred in 2.5 seconds. According to Novitec, the maximum speed is now "over 340 km/h" instead of exactly this value. But the squad from Stetten is already developing a more powerful power upgrade, which should then also have a greater impact on driving performance.

The tuner tackles the chassis with sport springs, which lower the Ferrari by 30 millimeters at the front and 25 millimeters at the rear. As usual at Novitec, specialist Vossen Wheels supplies the right wheels. The forged wheels in the NF 10 design present five filigree double spokes and are available in 72 colors; the photo vehicle presents the tone "Bronzino". The rounds move into the wheel arches in the formats 9.5x20 and 12x21 inches. The Bavarians plan to fit the tires in the dimensions 255/35 ZR20 at the front and 325/35 R21 at the rear.

There's more to come

If desired, the interior of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale can also be colorful. Novitec promises to be able to set up the interior in any desired tone, using plenty of leather and Alcantara. And externally, the Ferrari should also change in the not too distant future: a carbon aerodynamics package is already being developed, Novitec promises.

Novitec is taking it easy at first and only giving the Ferrari SF90 Stradale a new exhaust system as well as sport springs and other wheels in the first step. But there's definitely more to come, both in terms of power and looks.
