D amit is now finally rounding off the AMG series and is also offering the corresponding open versions of all four models - GT, GT S, GT C and GT R.
The Mercedes-AMG GT R Roadster will be just in time for the facelift of the 2019 series with the familiar 4.0 -Liter-V8- Start the engine. In the Coupé, this currently delivers 585 hp with 700 Nm of torque. With the facelift, however, the eight-cylinder with a hot V received a small performance boost. The response behavior of the engine, 7-speed dual clutch transmission, brake system, ESP and accelerator pedal characteristics can be adjusted using five drive programs. An optimized air flow ensures engine cooling via the air panel. As with the Coupé, the Roadster also has rear-axle steering and fully adjustable sports suspension with electronic damper control as well as traction control that can be adjusted nine times.
As with the other Roadster models, the AMG GT R via the three-layer automatic fabric top with a lightweight structure made of aluminum, magnesium and steel . This means that the focus of the roadster should remain low.
Over the passengers are stretched by a three-ply fabric top. It consists of a construction made of magnesium, steel and aluminum. For the interior, the roadster should come with numerous piano lacquer and carbon inlays. The Airscarf also ensures neck warmth in the leather seats.
The Mercedes-AMG GT-R as a coupé sprints to 100 km /h in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 318 km /h. The standard consumption of the V8 is 11.4 liters. The price for the AMG GT R as a coupé is currently 166,655.50 euros. Since all other roadster models are exactly 11,900 euros more expensive, the AMG GT R Roadster should cost 178,559.50 euros.
