Jaguar F-Type SVR makes 575 hp

After the The limited 575 hp Project 7 from Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) also transfers its performance DNA to the all-wheel drive F -Type SVR and upgrades it again in terms of optics compared to its serial brothers. The well-known 5.0-liter V8, which puts a whopping 575 hp on the crankshaft, works under the contoured bonnet with black ventilation slots. The maximum torque is 700 Nm. The coupé and the convertible sprint to 100 km /h in 3.7 seconds with such power. The modified eight-speed automatic takes over the shifting task - the top speed is reached with 322 things, the convertible comes to 314 km /h.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR is available also as a convertible.

At these speeds it should be clear that the average consumption of 11.3 liters per 100 kilometers and the CO2 -Emission of 269 g /km can hardly be realized. But whatever counts, is the performance.

New Jaguar F-Type SVR comes with optimized aerodynamics

Jaguar's special department has given the Jaguar F-Type SVR missed a powerful diffuser. Two-pipe round tailpipes with SVR logo protrude from the rear apron on the left and right. They are the visible part of the titanium exhaust system, which saves around 16 kilos compared to the production model. The modified front apron not only gives the Top-Jag a more aggressive look, it also optimally guides the cooling air to the engine and brakes. The airflow can escape again through performance air slots on the fender.

The top Jag is aerodynamically optimized.

The rear spoiler extends automatically

Not just in Optical highlight: the special higher rear spoiler that works across the entire width of the vehicle. It extends automatically at 112 km /h, thereby improving aerodynamics and downforce. At 80 km /h it goes back to the rest position. In the convertible, this process takes place at 96 or 64 km /h. When extended, the wing reduces the drag coefficient by 1.5% and the lift value by 80%. At the push of a button, the driver can also prevent the spoiler from extending in order to achieve top speed using dynamic mode.

Weight saving is the key to performance.

New braking system, new alloy wheels, less weight

That The chassis was adjusted again for the extra power and brought a little closer to the asphalt. For a negative acceleration of the new Jaguar F-Type SVR provides an optional composite brake system that saves up to 21 kilos in weight. For contact with the road, the Jaguar F-Type SVR is placed on forged light alloy rims with Pirelli tires of size 265 /35ZR20 or 305/30 /ZR20. At the hindquarters, these are 10 mm wider than the standard tires - the rims should save up to 13.8 kilos. Speaking of savings: the coupé costs 138,400 euros, the convertible is in the price list at 145,400 euros.

But for the interior: Here, the driver and front passenger are greeted by SVR door sills. OneSports steering wheel with aluminum paddles represent the workplace for the driver. Sports seats with quilted rhombuses and contrasting seams, leather finish and aluminum applications together with various 'SRV' logos make the F-Type SVR something special.
