Roland Gumpert is serious. He missed his M ethanol racer Nathalie a racing livery, a reinforced drive train with 816 hp (the series Nathalie has 555 hp) and improved aerodynamics as well as modifications to the suspension, the braking system and the cooling and lets him on the racetrack. At the same time, the luxurious interior of the 500,000 euro series vehicle has fallen victim to weight-saving racing equipment. The goal is clear: Roland Gumpert dreams of taking part in the EPCS racing series approved by the FIA.
The technical data alone could point to an exciting race. The athlete accelerates from standstill to 100 km /h in around two seconds and should only stop at 300 kilometers per hour. It is clear that the pilot does not have to go to the next petrol pump after 850 kilometers with such ambitious accelerator use. Whether Roland Gumpert's dream will come true will perhaps become clear at the end of this year or at the beginning of 2020 at the EPCS opening season.
