M The Audi TT sprints with launch control RS S tronic in the driving report started from a standing start with almost no noticeable slip and impressive traction. As with the well-known manual switch, Audi can also increase the top speed of the all-wheel drive vehicle from 250 to 280 km /h on request with the S tronic model.

Audi TT RS benefits from the current facelift

The gear changes in the Audi TT RS S tronic are either automatic or manual using the gear lever or the paddles on the steering wheel. Ideal for a trip to the racetrack: in manual mode, the transmission holds gears even when the engine speed limit is reached. Annoying, automatic upshifts in manual mode, such as in the smaller brother TTS, do not bother the Audi TT RS with dual clutch transmission in the driving report.

The pithy five-cylinder sound is just as hearty as the Audi TT Coupé with manual transmission. For a surcharge, the vocal power is underlined by a special sports exhaust system. From now on, not only the RS models, but also all other TT versions have angular aprons with larger air inlets on the front. The moderate facelift also includes a modified grille.

New engine for the Audi TT

In the interior, all TT models now have a little more black gloss paint and applications in an aluminum look. Audi also offers a new engine with the 2.0 TFSI with 211 hp and 350 Nm maximum torque. It replaces the two-liter TFSI with 200 hp and the old V6 with 3.2 liter displacement.
