D amit The small series manufacturer wants to build legendary cars with modern technology around the former Lotus CEO Dany Bahar. Project 1 is already more specific and cites the De Tomaso Pantera based on the Lamborghini Huracan.
Maserati Gran Turismo as the basis?
Project 2 is not that far. Ares wants to reinterpret an Italian roadster from the 50s and is inspired by the Maserati A6GS. Perhaps the design company also uses the Maserati Gran Turismo as a basis.
The design of the Project 2 area is of course classic. A large chrome grill is emblazoned on the front and is flanked by two small round headlights. The strong fenders, together with the long curved engine hood, form a dynamic unit. In the only slightly exhibited wheelhouses, whitewall tires rotate on filigree multi-spoke rims. At the rear with the sharply inclined trunk lid, there are only small lights. The Ares Project 2 also presents you as a classic in the interior. A wooden steering wheel is positioned in front of round instruments in the cockpit. The entire design appears simple and elegant - especially the center console, which houses an integrated handbrake lever. So far, Ares has not provided extensive information on technology, market launch or even prices.
