Subscriptions & booklets

Z A brief digression about various amalgamations: Tuner Startech belongs to Brabus, and Brabus is a well-known Mercedes tuner. The British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin is now cooperating closely with Mercedes-AMG and uses, among other things, its four-liter twin-turbo V8 M 177 to power the current Vantage. So what could be more obvious for Startech than adding Aston Martin to its own portfolio? After all, you can benefit from the company's mother's vast wealth of experience when it comes to engine tuning.

90 extra horsepower for almost 7,500 euros

Startech took care of the DB11 last year. Now the Vantage, which has also been extensively modified, follows. The heart of the tuning is the increase in performance, in which an additional control module is integrated into the engine electronics. This optimizes injection and ignition and slightly increases the boost pressure in order to increase the power from 510 to 600 hp and the maximum torque from 685 to 800 Newton meters. This leads to slightly better sprint values (3.4 instead of 3.6 seconds from zero to one hundred), but not to a higher top speed (314 km /h). Cost: 7,497 euros.

Startech has given the Vantage front - and not just the - extra carbon.

Startech has the Monostar M ready for the Aston Martin Vantage as a suitable rim, the center cap of which shines in either silver, blue, red or black. The 9 x 21 inch wheel is used at the front and 11.5 x 21 inch at the rear. The price for the rim set is 5,165 euros. The costs for the right tires in the formats 275/35 ZR21 (front) and 325/30 ZR21 (rear) come on top.

Carbon updates for the Vantage body

The tuner also intervenes in the design of the Aston Martin Vantage. The Startech designers divide the striking radiator grille of the British athlete into three parts with appropriate inserts. For the front fenders, the Ruhrpottler have other missions ready. At the rear there is a central rear fog /reversing light in Formula 1 style as well as two silver or black exhaust trims in parallelogram look with their own inserts. The Startech catalog also has new housings for the exterior mirrors and diffuser fins for the original rear bumper. If you choose all of this in a carbon version, you get a further 14,160 euros.
