B rabus has been cooperating with the Finnish high-performance boat manufacturer Axopar since 2016 and presented its second own boat at the beginning of the year, which is sold in a limited edition of 28 copies.
Complementary to this powerboat the tuner presents the Brabus Ultimate E Shadow Edition '1 of 28' based on the E-Smart Fortwo Cabrio, which is also limited to 28 copies at the Geneva Motor Show.
10 PS and 20 Nm more for the E- Engine
Of course, the Brabus convertible has a more powerful drive. The e-motor in the Shadow Edition has an output of 68 kW (92 PS) and 180 Nm and should accelerate the two-seater from zero to 100 km /h in 10.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 130 km /h. The increase in performance is achieved through a newly programmed torque control, special modules for the driving dynamics switch and accelerator pedal as well as a special gateway. These measures enable the reserves that are available in this electric drive to be awakened and used. The driver can choose between four different driving modes using the 'driving fun switch' in the cockpit. Brabus specifies a range of 125 kilometers.
Wide-body Smart from around 65,000 euros
Brabus has also revised the two-seater's look. this includes a special paint finish in gunmetal gray, a widebody body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels with 205/35 tires at the front and 235/30 rollers at the rear, as well as a more tightly tuned sports suspension and Silvertex fabric. In addition, Brabus composes carbon fiber components for the cover that frames the instrument cluster, the ventilation rings and the instrument for the charge indicator and clock on the left of the dashboard. In addition, there are aluminum pedals, as well as gear knobs and handbrake levers made of aluminum, illuminated door sills and leather floor mats on board. A special model badge on the dashboard signals the convertible's special status.
The Brabus Ultimate E Shadow Edition '1 of 28' is available regardless of the powerboat at prices from 64,900 euros.
