BMW Z4 GTLM: Sebring comeback in retro design

F for the 63rd edition of the legendary 12-hour race of Sebring falls the starting flag on March 21, 2015. BMW Motorsport will be there again. Exactly 40 years ago, BMW Motorsport achieved its first Sebring victory with the BMW 3.0 CSL. To commemorate this first Sebring victory, the two BMW Z4 GTLMs from BMW Team RLL will start this year with special designs at the 'Sebring International Raceway'.

The number 25 is the colors of the winning BMW 3.0 CSL from 1975. At the unveiling as part of the 'Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance' in north Florida on Saturday (March 14, 2015), BMW of North America presented the vehicle to the public for the first time.

Will the cars get faster with the new design? No matter. After finishing second and fourth in the GTLM class at the 2015 season opener in Daytona (US), BMW Team RLL would like to add another chapter to the BMW success story with this classic this year.
