
M ith the Audi TT GT4, Audi is expanding its range of customer sports cars downwards . The new entry-level model based on the TT RS has a 340 hp TFSI engine that is coupled to the two front drive wheels via an S-tronic gearbox with limited-slip differential.
Audi TT GT4 for 120,000 euros
The GT4 version takes over the front apron, the rear apron and the rear wing from the production Audi TT RS. The bonnet, doors and rear hood are made of CFRP, the windows are made of plastic. In the interior, of course, all amenities have been removed and replaced by the mandatory roll cage.
The standard chassis has been redesigned for use on the racetrack. Customer teams can now adjust the dampers individually depending on where they are used. The 10-spoke light alloy rims in the dimensions 9.5 x 18 inches come from ATS. The price quoted is 120,000 euros.
Audi is targeting Asian customers
Audi has not yet named specific locations and racing series. However, the manufacturer is primarily hoping for customers from the Far East. That is why the Audi TT GT4 was presented for the first time in Shanghai. On the sidelines of the DTM final, Frank Biela did the first demo laps with the TT. The other two customer sport models, the Audi TT RS in the SPT4 variant (for Nürburgring use) and the R8 LMS, also made the long journey to Asia.
