Improved battery pack
The battery of the Polestar 2 in the Standard Range Single Motor version has improved cell chemistry, which increases the battery capacity to 69 kWh. More energy also means more range. According to the WLTP, the electric car should now travel up to 474 kilometers. However, the new battery also allows a higher charging capacity of up to 130 kW. The electric motor, which is now specified with an output of 170 kW, also benefited from the update. ,
There are new equipment features for all Polestar 2 versions – inside and out. In the color fan for the exterior paint finishes, the Space and Jupiter colors replace the paint colors Void and Moon. If you don't choose an option color, you can now get your Polestar 2 in the Magnesium finish. The Swedes have also updated the design of the 19 and 20-inch alloy wheels.
Added to the equipment
If you are not satisfied with the vegan upholstery option that is installed as standard, you can optionally get a nappa leather interior that has been produced even more sustainably. It now comes in the color Zinc, which replaces Barley, in combination with new applications in Light Ash. Also new is a removable sun visor for the optional panoramic glass roof. ,
Those who order the performance package with immediate effect will also receive the performance software upgrade as standard with a maximum output of 350 kW and 680 Nm. An improved heat pump and an optimized cabin filter with fine dust sensor are always on board.
The prices for the facelifted Polestar 2 start at 47,295 euros for the standard range single motor. The Long Range Single Motor variant costs from 50,495 euros, the Long Range Dual Motor version of the Polestar 2 is available from 52,995 euros. The modernized Polestar 2 will be delivered from September 2022. ,
