Extended safety package

The assistance systems have also been added. In future, the Maxima will be equipped with the Safety Shield 360 assistance system package. This includes, among other things, an emergency brake assistant with pedestrian detection, a blind spot warning, a cross traffic warning, a lane departure warning, an adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and a high beam assistant.

Nissan is upgrading the interior of the Maxima with new upholstery fabrics and applications . There was also an upgrade for the infotainment system. The 300 hp 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated petrol engine, which only drives the front wheels, will be taken over unchanged.

The refreshed Nissan Maxima will be available in US stores from mid-December 2018. It is in five equipment levels.
