The eight-speed automatic transmission is standard here; it is available for an extra charge on the 218d.
Regardless of the model and engine, drivers of new BMW models benefit from an expanded option of integrating their own smartphone. In addition to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto is finally available. The connection can be established wirelessly via WLAN.
