E ines was at the official Mercedes GP -Presentation in Stuttgart clearly. With Michael Schumacher, Nico Rosberg expects the greatest challenge of his career. The youngster has to fight and not only on the track but also for the favor of the fans and the media. When he was presented in the Mercedes Museum, he clearly lost the duel. At the press conference, the former Williams number one sat at the side when the record world champion had to answer one question after the other.
Rosberg has to get used to that. And he seems to have already come to terms with that. He gave the start number three to his team-mate without any objection. For the 24-year-old, it's all about at least getting the same attention and the same material from his team. 'I talked about it for a long time with Ross Brawn and Norbert Haug and they assured me that we both have the same opportunities.'
Schumacher not just as a challenge
The Wiesbaden native tries not to be distracted by the hustle and bustle around Schumi. 'This is the opportunity I've longed for. I've been waiting for this step my entire career.' Rosberg has already spent a lot of time in the factory in Brackley over the past few weeks and got to know his new team. 'I've seen how hard everyone works. Now I can hardly wait to finally drive the car.'
National team versus national team
