L ewis Hamilton has the night race in Singapore won. The Mercedes driver got the best start from pole position and didn’t miss anything in the 61 race laps that followed. Hamilton came under pressure from pursuer Max Verstappen only once when he ran into Romain Grosjean and Sergey Sirotkin, who in turn fought among themselves for the position. But Verstappen couldn't take advantage of the situation and in the end rolled over the line, clearly defeated by 8.9 seconds.
