D the Race of Champions 2015 in the London Olympic Stadium was the big Vettel show. In the Nations Cup on Friday (November 20th, 2015), the German and his compatriot Nico Hülkenberg narrowly failed in the final against the English duo Andy Priaulx /Jason Plato. In the individual competition on Saturday it finally worked with the big trophy for the Heppenheimer.

On the way to the overall victory, Vettel had against Petter Solberg, Nico Hülkenberg, David Coulthard and in the final against Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen enforced. Vettel cut a good figure on all cars and showed no weaknesses. The Ferrari driver did not allow himself to be disturbed by technical problems and aborted starts.

First individual title for Vettel in the Race of Champions

After winning the final, Vettel celebrated with some smoking donuts in London's Olympic Stadium. The British fans congratulated them fairly with standing ovations: 'It took a while to finally win the title in the individual competition,' grinned the four-time F1 champion with satisfaction.
