T he fans in Suzuka will definitely come back in 2013. No one went home disappointed on Sunday (October 7th). The race started with a bang after only a few meters. Fernando Alonso was shot down by Kimi Räikkönen, Mark Webber was the victim of Romain Grosjean and Bruno Senna crashed Nico Rosberg's Silver Arrow in the rear.

Kamui Kobayashi got through the first corners after a good start. The Japanese could get over the fact that Massa pushed himself in front of the Sauber after the first pit stops. The local hero was celebrated on the podium by the battle strollers like the race winner.

But the big winner of the day was Sebastian Vettel. For his first place, the world champion scored 25 points, with which he reduced his deficit to Alonso to just four points. In the last five races, fans can expect a thriller final between the two double champions.
