E it starts again. Formula 1 officially started the 2015 season with the first two free practice sessions. However, the asphalt on the semi-public roads was still very slippery at the beginning, which led to some drifts and spins.

Photos of the training action and the Sauber saga

caused a lot of excitement Even before the start of the weekend, the big Sauber Zoff. In the morning Giedo van der Garde suddenly stood at the gates of the paddock. The former test pilot had successfully complained back to the cockpit. But at the turnstile, the Dutchman failed because of a non-working pass. He was finally allowed in after waiting 20 minutes.

Observers could hardly believe their eyes when Van der Garde came out of the Sauber pavilion in Marcus Ericsson's racing overalls a short time later and hurried into the garage to adjust the seats. The only reason that he did not take part in the training was the lack of a super license. Because one more lawsuit is currently pending, Sauber decided not to use the cars in free practice.

In our picture gallery you will find photos of the Sauber saga and the best pictures of the action on the track. As an exception, we have technical details in a separate >> Photo show . During the pit stop exercises before the free practice session, we were able to take pictures of all the details of the new cars.
