F elipe Massa is next to Felipe Nasr the local hero at the Brazilian GP 2016. The 35-year-old veteran will be given special attention this weekend. Massa drives his 13th and last Formula 1 GP in front of a home crowd. For the occasion, Williams changed the design of the FW38 slightly. Instead of the sponsor logos, the bonnet is decorated with the Brazilian name. 'Obrigado' is written in large letters on the rear wing. That means “thank you” in Portuguese.

Halo tests in Brazil

Lewis Hamilton has also come up with something for the race in Sao Paulo. The world champion changed his helmet design to a stronger yellow. The back of the head protection is decorated with the Brazilian flag and the statue of Christ. Will it bring Hamilton luck in his race to catch up?

In any case, the defending champion stormed the first fastest time on Friday morning. 5 drivers used the first trial unit to test the Halo cockpit protection: Kimi Räikkönen, Nico Hülkenberg, Jolyon Palmer, Marcus Ericsson and Romain Grosjean. We have collected the pictures in our photo show.
