T he trend towards books with very special topics continues. Especially in motorsport. Apparently there is a loyal fan base here who likes to indulge in the past. Because one thing stands out. Almost all books that are currently being thrown on the market tell of a time when the motorsport world was still okay. In the opinion of the purists anyway.

Jim Clark on 400 pages

Tens of books have already been written about Jim Clark. Reinhard Klein publishes a new attempt. With a 400-page glossy product in 29x29 cm format for 99.90 euros. Author Graham Gould presents the world champions from 1963 and 1965 in categories from A to Z. There are not only excellent photos to see, but one or the other anecdote that has not yet been told about the best driver of his era.

A real topic for specialists is the book by Eberhard Reuss and Ferdi Kräling about Formula 2. The junior class was once a very big number and attracted up to 100,000 spectators to Hockenheim. There were classics like the city race in Pau or the slipstream battles in Enna. Reuss has traced the history of Formula 2 from 1967 to 1984 on 210 pages.
