M it how many teams does Formula 1 go into 2015 season? Actually, all experts had assumed 9 racing teams. Maybe 2 more start boxes have to be painted on. Marussia has not given up the fight yet. Team boss John Booth is working desperately on a rescue plan.

The situation should not be completely hopeless. The insolvency administrators have given the team leaders a little more postponement. An online auction was actually supposed to take place on January 21st, with the aim of cashing in on the remaining inventory from the factory. This has now been completely canceled.

Marussia is negotiating with investor

They want to have further talks with a 'third party', according to the reason for the cancellation. If you really want to ensure the survival of the racing team, things have to be done quickly now. The new investor not only has to take care of the around 40 million euros in old debts, but also ensure day-to-day operations throughout the season.

After all, you wouldn't have to build a new car within a few weeks. The FIA has already given precautionary permission to contest the season with the old racing car from last year. The new investor should therefore not have any high demands in terms of sport.
