Interview with HRT team boss Colin Kolles

How would you describe the first season of Hispania Racing in Formula 1?
C olin Kolles: It was a difficult year, but we were the most reliable team. I think the only reason we didn't finish tenth is that teams like Lotus and Virgin had more experienced drivers throughout the season. I think in testing we performed well compared to the other new teams.

Hispania showed a good improvement. How can that help for 2011 and how does the experience help for next year?
Colin Kolles: We have improved over the season. Reliability was the first goal. We learned a lot and hope we can now focus more on performance.

What is the current state of the team and what can you say about the car for the 2011 season say? What happens in winter?
Colin Kolles: We are working on having a better package than last year. In my opinion, the season wasn't as good as we wanted it to be in terms of performance and we have to improve that. It depends on many factors, of course, but we are working to achieve our goals.

What do you think of Williams F1 and Cosworth as your suppliers for the next year?
Colin Kolles: It can't be wrong to have a package that has proven to be able to reach Q3 regularly.

What are Your goals for the new season?
Colin Kolles: To stabilize the team and improve performance.
