Red Bull From Merkel to Löw

C hristian Wulff (Federal President) : A talent has become a master - and that at the age of 23.
Angela Merkel (Federal Chancellor) : I warmly congratulate Sebastian Vettel on winning the world championship. Turning the tide with nerves in the last race - that shows the class of a true champion. As the youngest Formula 1 world champion of all time, Sebastian Vettel made sports history at the age of 23. With millions of fans I am happy for him and his team.
Joachim Löw (national soccer coach) : This is a great success for Sebastian Vettel. It is all the more meaningful because it secured the world title in an exciting finish. The German national soccer team warmly congratulates him. With talent, self-confidence and discipline, he wrote sports history in Formula 1 at a young age.
Paul Biedermann (swimming world champion) : It's really a great thing that he does still managed, even though he was so behind.
Michael Schumacher (record world champion /Mercedes) : He has had a fantastic year. There were certainly some setbacks that did not go on his head. The second half was terrific. We can congratulate him.
Fernando Alonso (Ferrari /World Championship runner-up) : Everything was fair and clean. That's motorsport. You can only congratulate him.
Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) : I congratulate him. He had a great season. Of course he deserves it.
Norbert Haug (Mercedes Motorsport Director) : Sebastian did a mega job.
Lewis Hamilton (McLaren /World Champion 2008) : Sebastian did a fantastic job. He deserved it. But we'll be back next year.
Stefano Domenicali (Ferrari Team Principal) : Of course we're disappointed. We were hoping to make the whole thing better. It's part of the game. We congratulate the winner. But we're also a little proud. After the bitterness of the moment, we'll hang in there for the next year.
Mark Webber: (Vettel's Red Bull team-mate) : Sebastian had the right timing. I'm not going to cut my neck now. It's not an easy day for me.
Dietrich Mateschitz (CEO of RedBull) : It was just really huge. Sebastian is incredible.
Christian Horner (Red Bull Team Principal) : I think I forgot to breathe in the last few laps. Before the flag came, you didn't know what was going to happen.
Eddie Jordan (ex-racing team owner) : We are all very impressed with Sebastian's performance this season. He's a great guy.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (CEO FC Bayern Munich) : He did a wonderful job. And he does it like Bayern Munich. He noticed from us that you don't always have to lead. It's enough if you are the front runner in the end.
Henry Maske (ex-boxing world champion) : It is incredibly impressive how this young man got through the last race. Not showing any nervousness in this situation is great. For him, the title is an experience that he will hopefully remember for a long time.
