One of the items on the agenda was the sanction for the g Team USF1 failed . The World Council has instructed FIA President Jean Todt to take the 'most appropriate' steps against the Formula 1 racing team. The American project canceled its start at short notice after months of speculation for the 2010 season.

As a result, instead of the planned 13, only twelve teams will take part this year. A new selection process for a possible 13th as well as a replacement racing team in 2011 was approved by the World Council in Bahrain.

India probably in the calendar for 2011

In addition, Formula 1 stop in India for the first time next year. Chief promoter Bernie Ecclestone informed the World Motorsport Council about this. However, it still has to be finally confirmed by the World Council when the racing calendar for 2011 is adopted. India originally planned its premiere in 2010.
