R ed Bull starts the new season with a false start. Sebastian Vettel's Formula 1 team will only test at the second meeting from February 10th to 14th in Jerez. The new car will then also be presented for the first time on the southern Spanish route.
Red Bull is losing valuable testing time
In contrast to last year, Red Bull cannot make up for its delay before this season. There are only four fixed dates during which the teams can unwind a total of 15 test days. Anyone who has to skip an appointment due to technical problems is simply unlucky. Vettel and his team have to watch the first test drives of the premier class of motorsport from February 1st to 3rd in Valencia.
Toro Rosso is faster: The B-Team of the Austrian billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz will present the new STR5 in Valencia next Monday (February 1st). The drivers remain the Spaniard Jaime Alguersuari and the Swiss Sebastien Buemi. Although Vettel's ex-team has to design the car itself for the first time, the big brother could at least be beaten in terms of the completion date.
