Nico Hülkenberg has been in Australia for a few days. The W illiams -Pilot to the extreme time change. The German youngster will not see the track in Albert Park until Wednesday. Until the first training session on Friday, Hülkenberg has to explore the 5.3 kilometer long course on foot.

Hülkenberg: Trial laps in the simulator

' I don't know the race track in Albert Park at all because I've never raced here, 'said Hulkenberg before his second Grand Prix. 'I spent a few days in the Williams factory last week and did a few test laps in the simulator. We went through the data with the engineers, but nothing can replace the time on the right track.'

At the moment, the young German hopes can use every kilometer well. In Bahrain, 'Hulk' struggled with problems in qualifying. At least the Oxford-based Rhinelander can hope for some aerodynamic updates. 'We have some improvements for the FW32, which we will test in Friday practice,' announced Williams technical director Sam Michael. 'It will be very interesting to see how the individual teams perform on a track that is very different from the circuit in Sakhir.'
