Lotus Lotus is looking for a new outfit

A ls Lotus announced on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi racing weekend that the cars are to be painted in black and gold again next year, one saw sparkling eyes again among the older semesters in the paddock.
New old Lotus design
The successful Lotus cars were on the road from 1973 to 1986 with the well-known design of the cigarette brand 'John Player Special'. Now history should repeat itself. With the new old paintwork, the team wants to remind of earlier heydays in a sporty way.
The exact design has not yet been determined. To get further inspiration, Lotus has now called on fans to send in their own suggestions. On the website, anyone can use the graphic of a white Lotus model , which can then be colored as desired.
It has to be black and gold
The only requirement of the racing team: The colors should be black or gold. The old cigarette sponsor logo is of course no longer allowed on the car. Otherwise there are no limits to creativity.
Each participant can send in as many suggestions as they want. The winner of the competition will be able to take part in the first tests in February to see the new Lotus up close.
