S ingapur is also used by the Formula 1 experts called the Monaco of Asia. And the 2012 edition did not disappoint the fans either. After a few laps, the race really got going after slight difficulties at the start.
The safety car had to go out onto the track twice to keep the field in order. The heat once again demanded everything from man and material. With Lewis Hamilton and Pastor Maldonado, both drivers from the front row did not see the checkered flag.
After the fireworks on the podium, the FIA commissioners went into overtime. Mark Webber, Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel had to defend themselves against impending penalties. Only Vettel got away with a gracious judgment.
