E s was a race with bang- Effect. The first accident occurred even before the start of the race. Romain Grosjean fired his Haas racing car in the rain on the way to the starting grid. The end before the Brazilian GP was even released.

But even during the 71 laps, which were interrupted twice with a red flag and went through several safety car phases, the players produced kindling. Marcus Ericsson destroyed the Sauber C35 when it hit the barrier. And the veterans Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa threw their cars away under difficult conditions.

One came over the distance without any major problems: Lewis Hamilton. The world champion confidently secured his third success in a row and moved closer to Nico Rosberg by seven points. The gap between the World Cup rivals is now 12 points with one race to go. Max Verstappen landed in third place after a spectacular drive with many remarkable overtaking maneuvers.
