N ico Rosberg is about to break all records. Seven wins in a row, four of them this season. 100 points adorn his account. It is not his fault that he was again not challenged. The technology clears the opponents out of his way. Lewis Hamilton started from 10th place after the same engine problem as in China. Sebastian Vettel threw back a gearbox change by 5 starting positions.

So nobody and nothing stood in the way of Rosberg's trophy hunt: pole position, fastest lap, all Leading kilometers and a safe start /finish victory. It couldn't be better, regardless of the circumstances. That gives the grade 10.

Hamilton's streak of bad luck continues

Lewis Hamilton also earned the full number of points. You have to put up with so much bad luck first. First the MGU-H is on strike again in the qualification. Then he has to call off his attack on Rosberg, because he has to gas from falling water pressure. Although the values rose in critical areas, Hamilton dragged his Mercedes disciplined to the finish. He was forgiven for the little mistake at the pit stop. He made up for it immediately by overtaking Valtteri Bottas a lap later. Grade 10 for the drivers, Grade 2 for technology. The engine epidemic almost knocked both Mercedes out of the race.

Sebastian Vettel was again unable to prove how good he would have been in a normal race. His race was over after one kilometer. This time there was no discussion of guilt. Daniil Kvyat drove the Ferrari two times into the rear. Therefor the grade 1. It is idle to discuss that the starting place penalty only put Vettel in the predicament. The Ferrari star can only be rated for training and a good start. This explains his grade 7.
