B ernie Ecclestone obviously likes big cars. After an S65 AMG and a Maybach S600, the only 1.59 meter tall F1 boss has been driving a Mercedes GLE since the Belgian Grand Prix. The almost 5 meter long SUV coupé, which has only been on the market for a few weeks, was parked in the paddock of Spa-Francorchamps in front of the motorhome.
Ecclestone gets Mercedes GLE with extra equipment
The diamond white paint alone is on the list for an extra 1,975 euros. In contrast, the fat AMG wheels in 22-inch format with 1,190 euros can almost be described as cheap. From the outside, the panoramic sliding roof, the aluminum-look running boards and the light-colored leather in the interior were still recognizable as additional extra features. From the basic price of 75,800 euros, the Ecclestone version should have quickly drifted towards the six-digit range.
