L ewis Hamilton came to Budapest with very little expectations. A heat race, no experience with the new Pirelli tires, no test of the technical updates. But then everything turned out differently. The Englishman took pole position for the third time in a row and set Michael Schumacher's record with his fourth triumph at the Hungaroring after 2007, 2009 and 2012.

Lewis Hamilton got nothing for free. The top grade of 10 is obvious. His pursuers Kimi Räikkönen and Sebastian Vettel had to give up. Raikkonen continues to lose his races in training. He did everything right in the race. Sebastian Vettel skidded the start and he was too impatient behind Jenson Button, which cost parts of the front wing. Therefore both only get the grade 8.

Rosberg too timid at the start

Nico Rosberg's bad luck began in training. Without the jammed brake balance lever, he might have made it to the first row. After a good sprint into the first corner, he acted too hesitantly against Vettel, was hit by Felipe Massa and slipped to 12th place. Then it went backwards and forwards. There was only the grade 6 left.

Nico Hülkenberg took exceeding the speed limit on his own head. That’s a deduction. The Sauber pilot also only deserved the grade 6. And Adrian Sutil? He struggled with the new tires, was surprised by Hulkenberg in the first corner and played no role until he retired. He is well served with a grade of 6.
