I somehow the GP Canada was babbling to itself. There was no real enthusiasm. No driver had the perfect weekend. Lewis Hamilton drove a sovereign Grand Prix, but he spun off the track 3 times during practice and stuck in the tire wall after a slip on a wet track on Friday afternoon. That gives a slight deduction and the grade 9.

Same game with Sebastian Vettel. The Ferrari driver showed a terrific race to catch up from 18th place to 5th place. He also made his mistakes in practice. Overtaking with a red flag, that shouldn't happen to the ex-champion. But the grade 8. Nico Rosberg was only the second winner in training and racing. A bad set of tires in qualifying led him astray. He also got the grade 8.

Grosjean apologizes

Further down the field, Valtteri Bottas, Pastor Maldonado, Felipe Massa and Nico Hülkenberg earned good grades. Everyone got the most out of their cars. Massa's race to catch up was almost as good as Vettel's. Technology was to blame for 15th place on the grid.

Kimi Räikkönen, Romain Grosjean and Felipe Nasr lost their marks through mistakes. Grosjean almost fell out of the points after his collision with Will Stevens. During the race, he cursed the radio about his opponent in the accident. After the checkered flag he apologized to the team: 'My mistake cost us two places and three points.'
