S ebastian Vettel claims that it would be the drivers' hearts tear out, Monza would be removed from the Formula 1 program. Ferrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene sees his home Grand Prix as the core of the F1 calendar, which one cannot easily give up. And the absence of the classic would also meet with a lot of misunderstanding among photographers.

Passion and emotion in the Autodrom

Nowhere is the Grand Prix circus so picturesquely embedded in a green landscape. Nowhere else can such high top speeds be achieved. Nowhere else is motorsport more alive than in Italy. In addition to passion and emotion, there is of course tradition. The premier class has been racing through the royal park since 1950.

auto motor und sport photographer Dani Reinhard has 'only' been there for 35 years. But that still makes him one of the old hands of his trade. Hardly anyone has seen so many dramas on the Autodromo. And hardly anyone can capture the magic of Monza as well as the Swiss.

Monza from unusual perspectives

You don't always have to point your camera at the race track. As is well known, emotions play out primarily in people's faces. Expressive black and white portraits are a specialty of Dani Reinhard. If you know his picture box, then you know that the photo artist always captures the event from somewhat unusual perspectives. And always press the shutter release with a wink.

In our gallery, the photographer shows you his best shots of the weekend. Have fun!
