Irmscher has put together a tuning package for the potent plug-in hybrid in both body variants. A body kit, a chassis update and exclusive leather interiors are available.
With 225 system hp, the Astra GSe is quite well motorized in the compact class. In order to emphasize the sporty aspects of the PHEV even more clearly, Opel specialist Irmscher has launched a comprehensive tuning package for the Astra GSe in the hatchback version and also as a station wagon ST.
Aero package and new wheels
The drive combination of the 180 hp 1.6 liter turbo petrol engine and the 81 kW (110 hp) electric motor remains untouched; Irmscher modifies his environment for this. The newly designed, deep-drawn front apron lip scores with an additional air intake and visually lowers the Astra. The low line is continued in the new side skirts and the new rear apron with a distinctive diffuser insert. The aero package is rounded off with a roof edge spoiler, which is located at the top of the tailgate on the station wagon ST. If desired, the Astra flanks can also be individualized with glued Irmscher lettering.
The Irmscher range of rims offers plenty of choice. The 19-inch Cosmo Star wheel is available in the Exclusiv (diamond-polished surface) and black versions. 225/45 tires are mounted on it. Irmscher also offers the 19-inch High Star rims and the 18-inch Turbo Star wheels as an option. All designs are available in the Exclusive and Black versions. Shorter springs lower the body by 25 to 30 millimeters so that the wheels are shown to their best advantage in the wheel arches. This measure is also beneficial to driving dynamics.
The interior of the Astra can be upgraded with stainless steel door sills, new carpets and an additional center console. The absolute highlight, however, is the individually made complete leather interior, which customers can put together from a wide variety of colors.

Conclusion
Irmscher has also adapted its Astra tuning package to the new GSe models. A body kit and new wheels modify the look, the plug-in hybrid drive remains untouched.
