You should have three things in order to justify a newly purchased car to yourself, your neighbors, your work colleagues or your spouse . At least that's how we talk shop with our driver on the way to the Hyundai i30 Fastback in general about buying a car. Good hook, let's try that out right now. From 22,200 euros, the Koreans can offer their customers an i30 as a coupé in front of their door. There are three equipment lines: Trend, Style and Premium. The lower categories Pure and Select are saved because they do not match the elegant body version, which extends over a length of 4.45 meters behind the flatter radiator grille.

People sit cramped and have a hard time looking out because of the Side pushes the roof. Behind it, the large and tightly closing tailgate reveals a deep trunk, the loading sill is high.

From December with three and four Cylinders

When the Fastback hits the market in December, there will be two engines. The basic engine with one liter displacement and three cylinders has an output of 120 hp. If you want more, you can take the four-cylinder with 1.4 liter displacement and 140 hp - optionally with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. Various assistance systems help with reading signs, emergency braking, keeping lane and keeping your distance. The compact coupes are not gone, they just look different now. And they're more practical. It starts with the manual 1.0 T-GI Trend for 22,200 euros. The more powerful engine starts at 23,100 euros. If the dual clutch transmission is on board (only for the 1.4 liter), the price tag is a whopping 25,000 euros. In the highest configuration, Premium, the 140 PS Fastback with DCT transmission costs 29,530 euros. The compact coupé can be upgraded with optional paint finishes (590 euros), premium seats including memory function (1,350 euros), navigation package (750 euros, 1,300 for Trend) or a panoramic sliding roof (1,100 euros).
