K Shortly before the beginning of summer, Volkswagen of America unveils a whole fleet of new vehicles. However, not just any model upgrade measures, but all of them special tuning models. The total of seven exotic species show optical tuning and are exhibited at various events across the country. It all started with the tuning meeting “Sothern Worthersee” on 18./19. May in Savannah, Georgia.

The Golf Alltrack Combi Concept is a blend of several Golf models available worldwide. The front bumper of the tuning car based on the 2019 Golf Alltrack SEL comes from a Golf GTE, the rear spoiler from the GTI Rabbit Edition and the short gear lever from the GTD. In addition, there is a height-adjustable chassis from H&R, a 90s film, tinted windows, an LED bar on the roof and a Thule Motion XT L roof box. The VW Technical Service Center in Auburn Hills is responsible for the development.

It doesn't get much deeper: Arteon R-Line Sema Concept.

On a limited GTI Rabbit Edition from 2019 is based on the Golf GTI Rabbit Confetti Concept. The blue GTI comes with countless rabbit logos in confetti style and on covered 19-inch Rotiform RSE wheels. The GTI has also been lowered by H&R, tinted windows and a Thule Canyon XT Cargo Basket. It hardly goes much deeper than the Jetta GLI Super Touring Concept lies on the road. In cooperation with Fifteen52, the 2019 Jetta GLI Autobahn got new wheels, a sports spoiler, a new brake package, tinted windows and a new exhaust system.

The Arteon R-Line Sema Concept was created in cooperation with Vossen Wheels . It is painted in pure white and covered with an Xpel stealth film. The chassis has been lowered by around 7.5 centimeters, making the 21-inchVossen Forged M-X4T wheels come into their own. The tuning VW comes to a standstill thanks to a new 380 millimeter brake system from Forge Motorsport.

Up The Tiguan Adventure Concept is based on a 2019 model of the Tiguan SEL Premium 4Motion. The SUV, painted with a topographic graphic, stands on 18-inch Rotiform WGR rims with all-terrain tires. It also has a boot protection plate on the rear bumper and stylish Monster Mats floor mats. The rear spoiler, the aluminum steps on the side and the Thule Hull-a-Port kayak rack with yellow kayak round off the exterior package.

The martial-looking Atlas Basecamp Concept was created by the avowed bicycle fan Alex Earle Appointed Exterior Design Manager at the Volkswagen Design Center California. The American from Wolfsburg drives on 17-inchers with 265/70 all-terrain tires. It is painted in platinum gray and black with orange accents and has a chassis that has been raised by almost four centimeters, a Front Runner Slimline II roof rails system with bicycle holder and an off-road LED light bar on the front and rear. The tuned seven rounds off the Golf R Spektrum Concept. It is based on the 2019 Golf R and can be ordered in 40 different colors. The special model is painted in gorse yellow and equipped with a height-adjustable H&R chassis, 20-inch Vossen Hybrid Forged HF-1 wheels and tinted windows.
