The seriously angular AX could only lose against the two-cylinder lightweight bird with the roll-up roof. Presumably GTI fans found little pleasure in the very sparse interior and the sober look of the 3.5 meter short small car. In any case, hardly anyone has bought it.

Which also means that the Citroën AX GTi, with an unladen weight of just 795 kg, is not only a very light, but also a very rare bird. There is only one GTi among the 50 AXs offered for sale in Germany's largest second-hand internet marketplace, and it doesn't cost 1,500 euros. Please strike!

An alternative is the 84 HP carburettor GT, which was built until 1991. It is around 20 kg lighter and can keep up with the GTi. He is also more common. There are used GTs from around 300 euros. The engines can withstand a lot and are hardly anyto get broken.
